Let’s be honest – the COVID-19 has made the internship search more challenging. Some internships are on hold, some are going virtual, and some companies are optimistic and still hiring. The good news is H-SC has partnered with Parker Dewey to provide micro-internships to our students. They are competitive, but they can be a great way to fill your resume with short-term quality projects and experience.
What is a Micro-Internship?
Micro-internships are short-term, paid, professional projects posted by employers across a wide range of industries. Projects require 5 to 40 hours of total work and can be completed remotely. New opportunities are posted on a rolling basis.

How do I get started?
To begin exploring, simply create a profile here. Creating a profile takes just a few minutes, and from there, you’re a couple of clicks away from seeing the opportunities! If you are selected for a Micro-Internship, you will receive an email about how to contact the employer to discuss dates and details about your micro-internship project.
Tiger Tip: When you apply for a micro-internship, the application asks why the company should hire you. They are asking for a short paragraph – 3-4 sentences. “I completed the Training the Street program and have an excellent background in financial modeling. I also have familiarity with R-Studio and have created data visualizations based on my results.”
